Travel in Verona: from bad to ... Best (ending, p.5) On the way to the hotel again I was lost, but quickly found a way out of this maze of streets, and went into the cafe, which was located nearby to drink beer. Then I went up to her and brought herself up for supper. Juliet's balcony in the evening for supper we will not transported, and we could choose a restaurant yourself. Roughly half of us decided to dine together and go to a restaurant that was in the house where once lived Maria Callas (American opera singer, approx. & TRANSFER.). We were served excellent fish dishes and lots of wine. We once sat, so that to the arena had to go very fast, but we wait too long. Even still have 2 minutes. View from the balcony that evening gave "Rigoletto." Oh my God, how it was great! The singer, who served the party by Hilda, was the angelic voice that blends perfectly with the voice of the singer, performed the title male part. Their duet at the end of the second act has caused a storm of applause. The audience applauded so long and ecstatically shouted that they had to sing a duet again. Wonderful. I told my friend who sat next to me, that now remains only a good tenor perform "Heart of the beauties is prone to change, otherwise the public will not forgive him. And, of course, he coped. Again, applause and joyous exclamations, and he also had to repeat the performance of well-known arias. Now when I hear this aria in the next time I will remember the singer. By the end of the speech I am so inspired that I could not sit still. Liz, Michael and I agreed to work together to drink after the show, and I went to meet them. We were joined by several other people, and we spent a couple of hours, sipping red wine and talking about opera. Later we learned that the city did not want to put Rigoletto this summer. But those who would encroach on next great work of Verdi, will try very hard to outdo the one option that we listened! Waking up on Sunday, I saw that the window is great weather. The sun is shining and the sky, no clouds. Sky was blue, which happens only in Italy. I soon left the hotel and went in search of coffee. I like the serenity of early morning, when those who wakes up early to have come to serve in the church. Castle Kastelvekkio That morning we went to the castle Kastelvekkio, who built the familiar Kangrande. Now there is a museum of art. How nice to get to the Art Museum with an expert on the history of art! Much better than with a kind of audio guide (a device that reproduces the recorded story of the guide, ca. Perevi.). That morning I learned how to make the gold plates (just hammers flatten coins, if you look closely, you will notice the square marks on the sheets). I also learned how to create murals, and that anyone who understands the art history can tell how many days it took to create this or that work. I was elated and could spend all day soaking up the information you gave me. Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore spent at the museum for several hours, unanimously decided it was time for dinner. We went to the nearest cafe, where a good meal and drink wine. The afternoon we spent visiting the church. The first was the Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore, she liked me more than anyone else. The second church was called San Bernardino, where we were allowed to visit the old library. I love libraries. Despite the fact that the books there is long gone, you can still feel that the silence and thoughtfulness, which fill its halls. Dinner at this time does not stand out particularly, I spent the entire evening in conversation with Susan. She has such a wonderful life! During the evening she told me her love story with her husband. I even cried. I like to listen when people talk about their lives and about themselves. Susan - a writer, so it is a lot of thinking on why we write and what we write. She then sent me something of what she wrote - a talented man! Aida That evening gave "Aida." That is reason why people come back to Verona. The spectacle was to be a memorable one. Perhaps I am disappointed. Singing was not the best, but the very idea though and turned out wonderful, but it was a bit not like I imagined. I almost did not go away until the end of the opera, but still decided to stay with his group. After it was over, about eight people from my group went to the Piazza Bra, to "drink" and discuss everything that happened in the evening. As usually happens in such cases, we ordered a bottle of wine after another, and everyone tried to convince me that the idea was actually not so bad. They have not managed to convince me, but we bought all that was in a bar and a good laugh. That's right, very quickly, the trip to Verona came to an end. I had a great time and the trip exceeded all my expectations. I managed to learn a lot and make new friends. Not too bad for a three days! Start material:
