Strange dreams of ancient cities - part 7

Salvation PAST EGYPT (Continued, p.7) from a boat we went on a small dock on the south side of the island. We were told that an hour later we returned and we all went, in all directions. I went straight to the big house which stood out for its size. I walked through the stunning courtyard of the External Church, which adjoined two large colonnade with beautiful patterns in the form of palm fronds. The main temple with its enormous pillars was dedicated to Isis and was built in the time of Ptolemy, that is, more recently, in comparison with other Egyptian antiquities. I was struck by the perfect state of facilities on the island. All columns were standing on their seats, roof and walls were in place. Amazing patterns on the pillars looked magnificently, despite traces of attempts to Christian and Muslim communities to destroy the ancient pagan patterns. I passed a huge first pylon, known as Ptolemy's Gate, and entered the courtyard of the temple, where I discovered another colonnade and the second pylon. I covered the awe when I walked through the second pylon and went into the hypostyle hall in which there were 10 large columns supporting the ceiling perfectly preserved with the famous pattern in the form of a flying eagle. Dark shadows and splendid designs made me admire, and I reached out to the camera. A guard with a machine gun at me and nodded in approval. I went through a great pass to the end hypostyle hall, and went into the dimly lit sanctuary of Isis, which once was a large golden statue of the goddess. The remaining time I spent walking along the mysterious halls and corridors of the temple. Hieroglyphics and beautiful patterns were all the walls, basking in the rays of light so that the inscriptions can be considered to the smallest detail. All the frustrations that have been happening to me when I was not allowed to photograph the beautiful works of art, vanished without a trace. Temple of Isis My visit to the temple of Isis in Filah was a real joy for the photographer! I went outside and looked at the beautiful building of the so-called tent of Trajan, which did not build, but that she did not mene beautiful. The sound of approaching boats reminded me of the time, I glanced at the clock. I still had two minutes to return to the boat, so I hurried through the fine structure to the pier where the boat was waiting for me and my comrades. The approaching boat, the one that I wanted to place, arrived with the new tourists, we are already pushed off and glided back to the waters of the Nile. Captain of the second boat smiled at me as if saying that does not keep me evil. I was right, that did not wait for the second boat! Unfinished Obelisk When we crossed the lake, our van was not yet in place. We bought water, find shade and waited, discussing what they see. In the end we agreed on the opinion that Fila - is one of the most beautiful places that we all saw in Egypt. Our minibus struck after 10 minutes, and we went on the last tour. We drove into the suburbs of Aswan and stopped at a beautiful building, located at the base of the cliff. With the purchase of a ticket I'm having a little problem because I have not had the amount of free delivery. Angry man behind the counter looked me in the eye and said: "I do not surrender." Denomination bank notes, which I tried to pay the bill, was just 2-fold greater than the required amount. Three people in front of me paid for a ticket without a date. The man behind the counter put them in a pile of other bills such as bills, which the thickness was 10 centimeters. I pointed to a stack of bank notes, smiled and said: "That is surrender." He raised his voice and said: "Keep the change is not for you!" And then took a stack of bills and put it on the table. I went back to his group, trying to find small change. It was then I discovered that in our group there is another person who has faced a similar problem, and putting no one else had. The solution came naturally. We approached the cash register together and gave the little man behind the counter one of our bills for 2 tickets. The man smiled mockingly, and took our bill and gave us tickets displeasure. I do not quite understand what was the problem, but we were polite during the entire procedure of exchange. We climbed the hill and found ourselves in an ancient quarry of the Pharaohs. Wherever I looked everywhere on the rocks were visible signs of prey species. At the top of the hill I saw the most important attraction of the quarry - a huge obelisk, which has been treated on three sides. Obelisk looked as if he was lying in a huge trench, but with the bottom of the trench it linked the real, raw rock. It was an excellent example of how developed the quarrying of stone in ancient Egypt. I was surprised how perfect was processed stone, given that it was treated without the use of modern tools of steel. The huge obelisk was thrown after the wizard found a flaw in the stone, which made further work meaningless. Should be, for them it was a shock! In fact, to examine the whole quarry much time was required, so that in less than an hour later we have returned to their hotels. Tour has been very busy, we saw many of the most famous monuments in Egypt. It was a great day, but the forces have anything to do. I quickly had dinner and spent the rest of the day with a cup of tea and a book. Start material: Completion of material:
