Unique island of Socotra Viadzhirong Pina, the U.S. aircraft company, Felix Airways "took off from Sanaa (capital of Yemen, approx. Perevi.) At seven o'clock in the morning. Hands-free land is not declared, I just went for a group of Czech tourists, when they went to the departure lounge. When everyone stood up, I too got to his feet. To my luck, I got on the plane you want me to. On my ticket reads "Felix", and on the luggage tag - "Yemen". This is weird. We made a stop in the city Muhalla that in the Hadramaut (historical region in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, ca Perevi.) And then flew on Socotra. In flight, they gave us a terrible sandwich and water. Most of the flight I slept. Last night I could not sleep, apparently, did his job category (an evergreen shrub whose leaves are used for chewing, approx. Perevi.)! When we arrived on Socotra, I was still asleep. I woke up, and all have already started to leave the aircraft. The weather was fine: overcast, but the sun did peek out from behind the clouds. Ali, my driver, waited for me near the conveyor belt for luggage. He was glad to see me, to the same guy is not bad spoke in English. We waited for my backpack and left the airport building. View of the beach from the main road trip to the city Hadibo was excellent. Waves at the sea sparkled in the sun and have a nice bright blue color! Beauty! We stopped near the place where the trees grew bottle. I took a few pictures, and we continued our way. The road was pretty good, she went around the coast, and we got into a nightmarish city Hadibo where everywhere were piles of garbage and scurrying ubiquitous goats. What a disappointing fall from paradise with magnificent views of the littered streets! We quickly had lunch, and Ali took me to the Hotel Taj Socotra, which stopped all foreigners. I said that I do not want to stay at the hotel, and tonight plan to pitch a tent on the beach. He replied that this can be arranged. Dragon tree first, we went to the mountains Ayeft. (Names of towns and other places I give what is called a "by ear." Here, nobody wrote Latin letters, so I had to write their own names, as I heard them). So, start uedi (dry river bed, approx. Perevi.) I climbed the hill. I saw lots of vultures, goats and some strange plants. They could hear voices farther on uedi residents picnicked. Over the mountains of storm clouds gathered, and, apparently, soon had to rain. About an hour later I went down to the jeep and we drove on. Beach on the way to the airport we stopped at the beach Deelish. There was deserted. On the beach, on the one side of the mountain, there was a huge sand dune, which I later got. Ali helped me put up a tent, then left, saying he would buy for me food and bring them a little later. I stayed at the beautiful beach of loneliness, he decided to take a walk and went to the dune. Get on it was not easy - it was slippery, and under his feet was full of small stones. From there, nice view, but halfway I noticed someone near his tent. It seemed to me that these were kids from a neighboring village. Because leaving, I did not hang a padlock on the tent, I had to quickly come down, but when I went to the tent closer, he saw that it was the goats that graze peacefully. I chased them a little bite to eat, and honored, lying in a tent. After some time on the beach seemed to some of the locals. He waved to me and continued on his way. Very polite people. Loneliness has begun to darken, and Ali still has not returned, I was seized with slight concern. Nearby was a lagoon, and I went there. There I caught a big crab that I got scared and started running away. I decided to catch up with him for fun and only after some time noticed how big he was. In the minds of just had an idea about dinner. Throwing a few stones in it, I managed to pin down. I found a stick and jabbed and killed him! Soon I will have dinner! Crab - a worthy prey for unprofessional hunter When there was Ali, I showed him the crab and he just stared at me as if to ask: "What do you want me to do with this thing done?" He said that they do not eat crabs ! His wife fried fish for us, it is what we ate for dinner. I have nothing else to do but to put the crab in the bag and hope that I can cook it the next day. All night sand crabs marched through my tent and around it! I've seen some of them climbed up on one side tents and slazit with her other hand. As I have said, crabs on Socotra do not eat, so they are here they're just everywhere! At night my tent was subjected to a small test - it began to rain. Tilt is not wet, it was wonderful! I slept not very well. Probably still could not get enough of that got on Socotra. On the beach, I was all alone! Read more:
