South Korea: In Search of Perfect (continued, p.2) We went to a small parking lot, where it starts walking the route at the foot of the mountain Yongchisan. At 5:30 am we began to climb. Tired of traveling amplified steepness of the slope on which the trail passes. However, at the first halt we decided to meet the dawn, and all the weariness melted away in the beauty of the rising sun! The beauty of sunrise and truly fresh air, have strengthened the feeling that we are in another world, separate from the cities and civilization. 5:30 am We went through numerous mountain peaks along the way, which eventually would lead us to a Buddhist temple Hyung-Gook-Sa. It is located in a small village located on the other side of the ridge Yongchisan. Along the way we were able to enjoy the beauty of "Mountains of pink azalea", named in honor of the flowers growing on top of it. In addition, we visited a temple to Sol-Aam, a sacred place for Buddhists, which is 5 minutes walk from the top. There, we were able to drink hot tea and meet new people. Of course, we do not have traveled alone, with us were our friends Courtney, Katina, and Monica, but still a useful component of hiking is to get familiar with the new, completely different people. Mountain pink azalea It was the end of our first transition to mountain Yongchisan, we felt the full beauty of these places. Here, in a small temple Hyung-Gook-Sa at the foot of the mountain, all breathed a quiet beauty and freshness, which gave rise to a feeling familiar to many - the feeling of peace and tranquility of the soul. Temple Hyung-Gook-Sa Many places in Korea, I liked, but it is there for the first time without any exaggeration I can say I felt that I want to stay here and never leave this place! But ahead of us waiting for new adventures, and we boarded a bus to the island of Odongdo. This island is used for many Koreans favorite place to travel on the weekend and we had the opportunity to make sure that there are very nice and comfortable. We admire the famous lighthouse and once again made sure that the Koreans would not mind a drink, if there is a reason! We have seen how a woman who was 50 years old, under the arms were to her car because she go she could not. Apparently, she fell victim to soju (a kind of Korean vodka alcohol content of 20 to 45%, prim.perev.)! Island Odongdo During our trip we were able to admire the sunset in the Bay of Sunchon, wetland, located near the coast, which crosses many paths, leading to a small mountain range.
