ADVENTURES IN "Jurassic Park" (continued, part 2) After a brief admiring stars had time to settle down in the tents to relax before the big adventure. In the night I was awakened by a loud screech. I was terribly frightened at first and decided on what is about to happen any catastrophe, but as a dream left me, I realized that this is nothing as simple snoring. But, my goodness, I never heard anything like it. After some time, "rumblings" have stopped, and I still managed to get some sleep. The next day I woke up very early, full of pleasant expectation. Breakfast and collecting things, we hit the road. Mercilessly scorching sun, and mosquitoes as biting mercilessly, so I tried to close the body as much as possible. But go to such heat, wrapped to the ears, it was very difficult, especially given the fact that I live in England, and not used to the hot climate. We were going to camp at the river Kukenan, which came about three o'clock in the afternoon. We stopped to eat, and then we had to cross two rivers - Tech and Kukenan. So refreshing was very helpful, my feet by that time already buzzed. All this time we walked in the direction of Roraima, our trip was decorated stunning scenery, and every time I lifted my head, I saw the bright sun at its zenith. I knew that this would be a difficult test. When we got to the place of our future camp near the river Kukenan, the first thing all undressed and jumped into the lovely cool water. Swimming in the river was so wonderful and refreshing that it seemed the real reward for all the day exhausting walk. By the time I managed to get to the tent, I felt incredibly tired and wanted to sleep. But, barely having time to lie down, I saw something that usually makes me squeal like a girl - a large cockroach. I was in a tent, and one of those people that were standing outside, I did would not be able to ask for help. So I plucked up courage and went on to action. With the help of about half a roll of toilet paper I grabbed the monster and jumped out of the tent, rushing at an incredible rate. Fortunately, no one saw my strange behavior, otherwise I would be hard to explain to them that I'm not really crazy. When the nightmare ended with a cockroach, I returned to my tent and crawled into my sleeping bag to a few hours of sweet sleep. Our guide a new day, and it was simultaneously one of the hardest and most fun days of my life. From that day on I began to get acquainted with your group and wanted to go along with all to find space for the main camp, but my enthusiasm has dried up in five minutes. All members of my group were in good shape and were worn by thickets of Roraima, as if they had a battery "in one place." So I decided to go myself and on my own speed. By the way, later joined me a few more people, and together we got to the camp. The heat was unbearable, and while we were on open ground plateau Grand Savana, there is not met, no bush, in the shadow of which we could rest.
