POWDER TOWER - ONE OF THE SYMBOLS OF THE ANCIENT CITY One of the monuments of the Golden Prague is the so-called Powder Tower. This name comes from the fact that in the XVIII century building served as a gunpowder store. Powder Tower was built in 1475. Its surrounded by moat, which today is 9 meters underground. As in most of the towers of Prague, on the Powder Tower is an observation deck.
