Auto race in Sicily, or uprising Electronics - Part 4

Sicilian on your browser and RAIN (end, part 4) We have investigated the area of ??the city of Ragusa, and visited a fair number of small towns that are nearby - Kaltadzhirone, Palazzo Acheirede, Modica, Vitstsione and others. All of them - nice small towns, often with large houses and something like a "old town", which has undergone restoration or restored at the moment. Our navigator has surpassed himself in the Palazzo. He led us through a very narrow winding road that ran along a steep slope, cluttered with cars in its widest part, to the stairs that led to the area below the highway. Turn around? Room for maneuver was not there. Go in reverse back? Perhaps, but unlikely that we could do the trick without damaging anything on the road. Had yet to unfold. At times I have had no more than 5 inches to maneuver. Pat believes that it was a difficult turn at 10 points. It seems to me that I deserve extra points for that (a) is not rolled down the steps, (b) not crashed the car, standing before a large stone building. In the Palazzo, I am told, has a beautiful cathedral or church. In the Baroque style, it seems. Alas, the forces on the Baroque, we have no choice. During a trip around the neighborhood and then the next day, when we again had to pack a wet tent, we drove past the place where there are canned tomatoes, which we buy in Australia. Entire miles of greenhouses covered with plastic, which occupy hundreds of hectares. In some greenhouses harvest is ripe, and it had already collected. In other greenhouse tomatoes just ripening in the third grown peppers, eggplants and other vegetables. I think that it employs all the people who live in big houses, located in the surrounding towns. This is a very intensive form of agriculture. Greenhouses Before our trip about the city of Agrigento, we've heard almost nothing. For this reason, in the Valley of the Temples we went, not expecting anything special from the trip. But these churches and their associated excavations worth our time. Most of the day we spent wandering around the ruins of the temples of Hera angry / Juno, Concordia, Heracles / Hercules and Zeus. Had a great time! Even if you are not fond of ancient history, you would still like all the things that the ancient Greeks created to please their gods and their beliefs in absolute reverence and worship. Although, maybe they just wanted to brag to their neighbors, they know how to build great temples. Unfortunately, over time, these ancient places of worship strongly collapsed. Temple of Concordia is preserved relatively well, because at one time the Christian priests removed the figures of pagan gods in the temple and built his church. The biggest of these temples, the Temple of Zeus, now looks more like a pile of rubble. Some parts of the ancient buildings were used as building material - should be, this place was then called Quarry of the Titans - the others were destroyed during an earthquake, others were "under the hot hand," many of the conquerors. Sorry. They were majestic buildings. Temple of Hera We also liked the archaeological museum. In it, we spent several hours admiring at how talented and skillful were the ancient Greeks. Camp, where we stopped, quite normal, but not the best of those which we have previously carried out at night. It is called the "Nettuno Internazionale" and is located on the beach near San Leon. Nearby, up the road a little closer to Agrigento, there is another camp. Very sorry, but we got through it. Our camp was recommended guide Michelin, one another - a guide "Lonely Planet". What do you mean? Temple of Concordia we pitched our tents about 10 kilometers from Palermo, in a place called Sferrakavallo. Moving went without much adventure. We want to here a few days and then return to Messina, thence to take a ferry to Salerno, which is located on the Amalfi coast. If the ferry to Salerno does not go, we will take the ferry to Villa San Giovanni, and thence doedem by car. And if we suddenly change our minds, we can take a ferry to Sardinia and Corsica. No problem, because we had no trouble adapting itself and easy to move. Start material:
