DIVING IN THE INDIAN OCEAN Cass and Andy McCauley, Canada his first day on the islands of Phi Phi, we have devoted to diving. This occupation was the main reason why we come here. We planned to make several dives in various parts of the islands. Upon arrival we were informed that over the last nine days on the point of immersion, which is far from the shore in the open sea, divers have seen whale sharks and sea-devils (the largest species of stingrays, on average, reaches a width of 4-5 meters, approx. TRANSFER .). By speedboat to get there could be two hours, so the price is much higher than the normal trip, besides, there was no guarantee that we at least someone there to stun. On the other hand, the chances were high. How did miss this opportunity! We decided that such opportunities should not toss and decided to go there. Imperial angel on the venue, we arrived an hour early because you forgot to set an alarm to the correct time zone, and at 7 o'clock in the morning, finally pulled Terry, our instructor, and other members of our group. We repeated the special signals that divers shook hands and discussed the dive plan in two points. Then we all went together to the docks where we were joined by divers from other hotels, and embarked on two high-speed boats. The entire group sat in the bow, where, during the movement we are constantly bouncing on the waves. That was a Ride! We sailed past the beautiful island of Phi Phi Ley and out to sea. At a distance we saw several islands, but to them we were not treated well. After a couple of hours of racing over the waves the boat slowed down. It's time to dive! Devilfish Everything happened very quickly. The first diver jumped into the water and began to rapidly go to the depth, then returned to the surface, removed the mouthpiece and said: "The devil!" All at once began to quickly pull the gear and jump into the water. Once we finally boarded, we discovered that the water was very warm (around 30 degrees!) And very clean. Prior to that, we would not have to dive in salt water, but such conditions we are accustomed to very quickly - in the warm water is easier to move and breathe, than in cold waters, to which we are accustomed to at home! Going into the water, we began to plunge about 20 meters. Barely a minute later, they heard a signal from our instructor. We turned and saw a huge sea-devil, moving past us. Terrific! He was much more than could be expected (about 4.5 meters in width), and moved very gracefully and easily. Once the monster is out of sight, we heard another message, and before us appeared (not dangerous), the whale shark! It was hard to believe! We got into this underwater world is just a few minutes ago and saw the two giants of the meeting with whom always dreamed of! With awe, we watched as this huge creature with a characteristic spotted coat color of the body floated past us. Later we were told that this was a young whale shark, but still she showed us just great. It's the biggest fish that inhabits the ocean! Our dive continued, and we saw a myriad of tropical fish, beautiful coral and sea-devil! In the end, the air in our balloon began to run out, and we reluctantly began to climb in order to make a stop for decompression. On the surface had some time to wait before you climb aboard, it seems, if we're both decent swallowed sea water - our feeling was not exactly good after returning on board the boat.
