Interview with Alfonso - part 1

SEX TOURISM ON-Gambian Marco Dapril, Italy Gambia joined a few thousand kilometers of its territory all the advantages and disadvantages of newly independent Africa. On the one hand, due to the attractiveness of white sand beaches and colorful markets it is trying to develop the tourism industry, on the other hand, she seems unable to complete at least one ongoing projects, including those undertaken by a repressive dictatorship. This can be seen immediately after crossing the border with Senegal. There, customs officers wear uniforms and efficiently (by African standards) perform their duties. On the other side of the border customs officers dressed in shabby shape, without any insignia or simply in civilian clothes. Any contact with them, those who had the misfortune to be born with white skin, without fail ends moving a certain number of bills from his wallet to wallet officer. Countries in which the rule of dictatorial regimes, notorious for the fact that foreigners are treated very well as long as they stay away from domestic policy. Cuba, China and the former Soviet Union, Iraq under Saddam Hussein - are all examples of dictators who abused police powers to create a clearly false paradise for tourists (built in spite of the civil rights of local populations). But not in Africa. Here, people do not care who is in power, and a political system in the country: the colonial, democratic or a dictatorship. Natural African passivity allows historic buildings and railways to fall apart, but with tyrants, it does the same thing. Lovers? Having overcome without wasting cheer up trying to entice me a bribe, I entered the territory of a genuine Gambia, state, fully developed on both sides of the same river. Something similar happened with the ancient Egyptian civilization is not the Nile. In order to get to Banjul, the administrative capital of the country, to cross the river mouth. By ferry it takes about half an hour. During this journey on board the ferry is sold (and bought) everything: fake watch brands, fake t-shirt brands and any other rubbish from China. I've always wondered how those who have little free money, feel obliged to demonstrate that they can afford a completely pointless waste of money. Banjul is built on the island, just a small island than, apparently due to a relative and not just the usual serenity that you feel upon arrival. Unusual absence of shill, thieves, pimps and prostitutes may have only one explanation - Senegambia. This is a long narrow section of about 10 km in length, which appeared on the coast and takes up space from Cape Bacau, (near the mouth of the river Gambia), to the beach Kololi, the true heart of this lifeless body. Here, all synthetic. The real Africa seems to be thousands of miles away. All buildings are newly whitewashed, in most stores you can buy Western-made goods (according to western prices) and even garbage on the roadsides here comes in limited quantities. It is here that thrive Alfonso. And it is here come from Europe at the age of ladies in search of balm for healing emotional wounds. Kololi Beach has always been assumed that the full equality of the sexes will be achieved by improving the men rather than women's savagery. I wanted to believe that men will think his head, and not elsewhere, as women, in turn, will not remove the male prostitutes. And then you get to the Gambia and find that three out of four tourists here - the sad, tired of white women who are accompanied by athletic black men younger than 30 years. Love? Read more:
