All covered with green, absolutely all - part 1

BEACH, RIVER, a pack of dogs and Minister of Culture of the Fiji Islands Ruth and Jason Scotland after a short flight just after sunset we landed in Nadi. The first thing that caught my attention was the scent that hung in the air. He was like a combination of fried food, cut grass and flowers, and I decided not to close the window in the car on the way to our hotel, which was on the Coral Coast. We stayed in a traditional Fijian home "storm" that looked like a big wooden hut. Unfortunately, the weather we are not spoiled, and all 3 days we spent there was rain and it was overcast, so we spent at the beach just one hour. But we managed to ride the horses. Cost is quite inexpensive - about 6 pounds per hour. Horse riding, I went to Jason and our guide. We drove along the beach, then along the road, went to a village and went to another beach. We let the horses canter, but it hurt his feet much, because we had no special shoes, no pants. On the feet were large bruises and abrasions on their saddles, but gallop a gallop along the beach is worth the minor inconvenience! We decided to go to one of the islands in the hope that the weather there is better, and chose the island of Mana. Fijian housing storm We caught a car and went back to Nadi, there to sit on a small boat that takes us in the morning on the island. Upon arrival we were met by the entire staff of the hotel, they all went out to meet us and we sang a little song about his island. We had a very modest room with a small fan, but this was not so hot as in Thailand, so we have enough as well. The first day we went to the beach, but by evening the rain started and we had to stay in the room. The next 2 days we spent at the beach, trying to regain his swarthy skin, because a tan, which we received in Thailand, almost gone! Overcast day at the beach during the third and last of our days on the island of Mana we were approached by a man and offered to make a sea voyage to the island an outcast. While we doubt about this adventure, he managed to reduce the price from 60 to 20 dollars per person, so we decided to accept his offer, because in the end we needed him to pay all the same 6 pounds. The boat was long and narrow, similar to those that use the water taxi across Southeast Asia, but the roof had not had, and instead of a small motor was equipped with a motor from a speedboat. Very fast boat! We rushed forward, breaking through the waves, when suddenly a bench in front of us broke down under the weight sitting on it of people who landed on it after each jump from wave to wave! Fortunately, our bench has remained intact, and we liked the ride. Along the way we approached one of the islands to visit the local market. There in large quantities to sell a variety of jewelry made of shells and wooden gizmos with carved patterns. After wandering around, we returned to the boat and continued on their way to the island where the shooting took place the movie "Cast Away". The guides showed us a few places on the island, which became decorations for the film, such as palm tree, which climbed the hero of Tom Hanks, and then we went to the beach. (Tom Hanks - a popular Hollywood actor, who plays Chuck Noland in the movie directed by Robert Zemeckis' Cast Away. "Prim.perev.) On the island recently hit by hurricane, and everywhere littered with piles of leaves and broken branches, but on the beach, they were not. We refreshed cookies, and went swimming and sunbathing. Island outcast evening, Jason saw a huge cockroach that was crawling along the wall of our room. We have seen these beetles on the street at night they flew out there and we were afraid that he will field someone from us in the face if we try to kill him! We had to move the bed from the wall and before going to bed to check the entire room, do not hide there somewhere else different beetles. I think that even the most courageous person who is not afraid of insects, is not very nice to share the bed with the monsters of this size! Local Cockroach! The next day we boarded a boat and went back to Nadi. First, we wanted to visit several islands, but the food here is worth far more than on the mainland, so we decided to go back and hope that the weather will favor us.
