All covered with green, absolutely all - part 2

BEACH, RIVER, a pack of dogs and Minister of Culture of the Fiji Islands (continued, p.2) The entire last week of our stay we booked a hotel room under the name "Mamochkin Tropic of Capricorn, on the beach Uayloaloa. When we arrived, we entered into his arms herself Mom, she also took us to a room overlooking the sea! The hostess warned us that by 3 o'clock the grand opening of the hotel to come (just think!) Minister of Tourism of the Republic. The hotel will be closed at this time, so we do not have far to go, because the doors will be closed until such time as he will not go away. We took a taxi and went to the store to buy something for dinner, and quickly returned to watch the opening. The Minister was late more than an hour, but none specifically complained about, because he worked free bar! When he finally arrived, hoteliers met his kava. Kava - the traditional Fijian drink, which is made from the root of the hibiscus. Then Mom gave a speech about the importance of good relations to the guests that we liked, because in fact the hotel staff looked slightly annoyed, had only to speak to them! Tourism Minister went round all the tables and spoke to all present. He asked us to campaign travel from Scotland to come to Fiji. So, we can assume that we have become the object, to put economic terms, direct marketing, a joke. Your hosts have arranged a feast for all with plenty of chicken and rice and various other dishes, so we had eaten to satiety. Another was free beer, which is like Jason! Minister of Culture and a reception in his honor the next day the weather is still not improved, but we still went to the beach to see what's there and how. The sand was dark and the water is muddy, so we were not very excited about what they saw. And then the rain started, and we again had to spend the rest of the day in a hotel room. At night the wind rose, and the next day Mom said, that in its opinion, may even start a hurricane. But by the time we went down to breakfast, the sky cleared, the sun came out, and we again went to the beach. Sunlight dark sand looked much better. It was strewn with shells and different from that slightly shiny. Seashells on the beach The water was still murky, it floated a few jellyfish, but the beach was not so hot that we had to escape from the heat in the water, so that such conditions were quite acceptable. We moved a little away from the hotel, and we immediately began to feel that the entire beach belongs only to us. You could see the other end of the beach, and people all over the coast appeared only occasionally, and that very rarely someone walked past us. We found a river which flowed into the ocean, this discovery gave us great pleasure in the next few days! Near the place where the river flows into the ocean, we found a site with soft, like mud with sand, where we staged a few times myself mud bath! Above the river we found the mangroves, where we watched the fish and muddy jumpers who splashed everywhere. (Silty jumper - a small tropical fish, which with the help of solid pectorals able to jump over mud flats and mangrove roots. Prim.perev.) . We also noticed the eel, which sailed somewhere upstream. We followed him, but if we just sit down to relax a bit, as from somewhere appeared a local resident and cut off his head! Our river and the fish-jumpers we saw several horses, which often appeared near our hotel. Behind them is always followed by a foal, even when someone is riding them on the beach. Yet we have managed to make friends with all the dogs that roamed the beach. One time we even collected a small pack and play with them in the river! One dog was very noisy, when he was with us, but once it was driven into the sea some strange dog, and he just stood in the water miserably, and waited for him that we Come! One morning on the beach came the two men. They brought with them and put a large network, and 5 minutes later pulled her to shore, catching so many fish, including a 40-centimeter barracuda. In our hotel had a swimming pool, and usually we spent a few hours after dinner, trying to play volleyball in the water, but we have it does not succeed. As a result, the familiar dog a place like us in Fiji, most of all. It was not as crowded as on the islands. We were very sad when it's time to leave, but at least we got her share of the sun and nice tan! At 10 pm we flew to Los Angeles and were on site within 13 hours the same day. (It should be remembered that the hero of the material crosses the line change the dates, so his plane arrived at the airport arrival on the same day when the clock showed the less time there. Prim.perev.) Flight took 10 hours, the pleasure is very questionable, but we had the day we spent at the beach!
