A FEW DAYS IN VILNIUS Adrian Livingstone, UK It's been a week since I left the UK, so I think it's time to tell you all how to move my journey. For those who do not know, my wife and I decided to go back to circumnavigate the globe. At this time no aircraft. In the first part of our journey, we'll get on the train from Britain to China, where we both will be some time teaching in a small town on the border with North Korea. We have not yet decided where to go after work (if we do get to leave Asia "). True, we have a plan, under which we'll get on cargo ships to Australia, New Zealand and South America, and then some time pokolesim in America, before returning to the ship back to Britain. Warsaw during the week we got from my hometown of Hinckley in England to Vilnius, Lithuania's capital (and the official center of Europe!). I think I have brought back from the train, which is not good, because we go another 20-plus days, including one 90-hour trip. In general, the Tour still goes pretty well. It would be much better if I imagined the weight of all of our luggage before we left because my nonexistent muscles obviously not very well handle the extra load. But the first problem began only in the night train Paris-Berlin, when the guard for some unknown reason, began to explain with gestures, that our tickets - no tickets at all, but merely a preliminary order. I've been prepared to explain what's what, in his broken "French, when he suddenly pulled out a book I read, my train tickets London to Paris, claiming that these are the tickets that he needed. Berlin floated by in a haze due to time differences and lack of sleep, but after a few free cocktails and a view of a large section of the Berlin Wall, which is left as a monument, our mood improved. This was just before boarding a train from Warsaw. I have heard many negative reviews about Warsaw, but immediately upon arrival we saw the familiar names of cafes and restaurants - the Hard Rock Cafe "and the" Pizza Express "- so it's not clear because of what might arise, all these negative opinions. Warsaw I had to stay in a dormitory in Warsaw, but after registering at the hotel told me that for the sake of the general security of guests from my bedroom free resettled in separate rooms. Little concerned about the cause of these strange movements, I asked the girl at the reception, she pointed to a man who stood behind me: "He was quite mad, and we think that people should not stay with him in the same room" - she whispered. Apparently, he was still not completely crazy, because he was allowed to live in a hotel, but still use the strong Polish beer! Our train left the next day early morning, so we were just a few hours out to see Warsaw. The evening ended at a local restaurant. There we watched the efforts of the owner, who wanted to cook some Chinese food and arguing about whether to take a bottle of vodka in each of our train ride. Deadline for material:
