Eco-Resort Ban Pako

Lao RESORT BAN PACO, aka LAO PAK ECO RESORT We were in the middle of jungle eco-resort, situated on a bend of the flow of the Mekong River, fifty kilometers from Vientiane. This resort is highly recommended to us a couple of Danes, whom we met in the village of Pak Beng. To earn the right to be called "Eco", the owners of the resort focuses on the eco-tourism, and seriously engaged in such an important issue, as the recycling of waste. It is also possible using solar energy, and all the bungalows are built of locally produced materials. Eco-resort Lao Park the next morning after his arrival at Ban Pako we woke up to breakfast before anyone else, because our bungalow biting ants swarmed. The waiter from time to time were closing his eyes as he took our order. We tried to order a roll, but, alas, not yet baked. Instead, we ordered banana fritters - the most delicious I've ever tasted - and strong Laotian coffee. We complained about the ants, because of which nazoditsya in our house was just unbearable. Maintenance staff was at a loss, they had never heard such complaints. By schatyu, after breakfast, we moved to another bungalow. "Preserve nature Ban Pako" Time to Ban Pako is flowing slowly, and the days are filled with serenity. We wandered through wild paths in the jungle, admired the butterflies that are found here in abundance, but during the hottest time of the day resting in a hammock on our balcony. We followed the advice of the hotel employees to bathe in the river, and a wonderful time. Foolishly we captured with a set of diving. At first glance at the murky water, it became clear that there is zero visibility. From time to time to the pier to moor boats to the new holiday-makers. Among them were those who traveled alone, and those who arrived with a group. The resort myriad leisure options. Here organize boat trips, hiking in the jungle, visits to nearby villages and more. Nevertheless, it seemed that most guests just want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of plenty of jungle couple of days. This lizard was the largest animals from those that we met at Ban Pako Qualified staff acted cordially, and all desires are fulfilled, albeit not immediately, and to achieve the goal had to be more assertive in relation to the service staff. It seemed that the staff of the resort lulled relaxing atmosphere hot day, and they "came alive" only to sunset, when the time came to play volleyball. After the game, they spread around the bungalow lamp, charged by solar panels, and collect orders for dinner. The menu was quite varied, but essentially the kitchen every night preparing no more than two kinds of dishes. There was a local food such as steamed rice with vegetables, pork or fish, and a couple of European dishes. Food was always tasty, but had to wait an eternity until it cooked. Tourists are younger, as we thought, expectation was given more difficult than others. We arrived at Ban Pako on the boat, but out of pure curiosity, ordered a car to get back to Vientiane. Our familiar guide terribly pleased to learn that we as a whole were satisfied, except for a few unpleasant details, nuisance to us during his stay at the resort. We plunged into the jeep. The road to the village Som Mai was incredibly bumpy. I wonder what then is the spiritual and physical suffering is worth the journey to these places during the rainy season? The car was driving very slowly, but, despite this behind us, a huge swirling cloud of dust. We asked our guide about what a roar rang out at the resort every night. He just shrugged and said it was the inhabitants of poor villages to hunt the rats in the jungle. Sometimes, if they can nastrelyat many rats, they sell them on the market.
