Ten laws of hiking and one law meanness - Part 2

Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (continued, p.2) In the evening I met up with Mike, a resident of Luxembourg, whom I met on their studies in Paris in 2000-2001. We had lunch and drank beer together. After a wonderful evening spent in the memories of old times, exchanging stories about traveling and trying to explain what I do in Luxembourg, I passed a couple of kilometers on foot to my rented apartment in Gilsdorfe. Concert in the city of Echternach Now I'm heading to the east, the small town of Beaufort. The road first went through the woods and fields, but then a few hours I was walking on sandstone, which are typical for the area of ??Luxembourg, known as Little Switzerland. Beaufort is famous for its castle, although he is nothing special, just kind of impressive ruins. I looked around and realized that he had nothing to do here, we can only rest in the hotel. Then I went to the town of Echternach. And got really enjoyed going through the rocky massif of Little Switzerland. View of the city Echternach I passed towering rock in the middle of a huge forest, which attracts climbers from all over Luxembourg. After a series of many turns of the paths and stairs, I walked along the river which flowed through the valley. Then I walked past the forest amphitheater, which was carved directly into the rock. That night, there was held a party of local youth - the music could be heard a mile away. Echternach was the first large town, which I saw all week. It is located on the border with Germany. As in all big cities that I visited, there are some pretty narrow streets that lead to the central square, with several beautiful historic buildings and many bars. The valley of the Moselle the evening, I wandered around the city, I wrapped the warm air and the sounds of the local orchestra, which played in the central square, and all this complemented with colored lights illuminated the building. From Ehternaha footpath went back to woodland, strewn with blocks of limestone, and then turned south to Vasserbilligu. All day I climbed up the slopes, then to descend to the village. Walk was not too difficult, but the road is exhausting, especially the last five miles, when before they get into town, I had to bypass a large traffic interchange and cross the coastal strip of river. From Vasserbilliga I rode the train to Luxembourg City and met with Mike, with whom we drank a beer and a couple of glasses of liquor from his personal stock. Vellenshtayn town of Luxembourg, I went to Paris by high speed train, to rest a few days and to see members of his extended family. Also, I spent a few pleasant hours, again after visiting several places, with whom I associate good memories about years of study in Paris. When I came back to Luxembourg, Mike kindly gave me and expelled at the same time my shoes on the street (for obvious reasons). Despite the fact that Mike did not cease to repeat that people do not hang out on Tuesday, we went into town to dine, then make into a makeshift barhopping (campaign to bars, approx. Perevi.), Which began in the newly-built brewery and quarter ended in the old town. We understood that went too far, when the last bar we are reluctant to bring beer, because they are already closed, and despite the fact that we were able to drink, we had to do it right on the street, watching as the owner closes the shutters of the bar . The municipality of Mondorf-les-Bains is not surprising that the next morning, I could barely move and set off only by noon. Once I shook off the hangover in front of me has opened a wonderful view over the vineyards of the Moselle Valley. The remainder of the day went on the road along the paths and roads through the vineyards along the charming village of melenkie. Along with the vineyards along the edges of roads and fields in large numbers have grown Blackberry bushes, which for me is the main source of berries over the past few weeks. Vianden commune day ended in a very small but attractive town Ehnen, a fancy hotel, which had 150 years. I woke up from a severe thunderstorm. Rain rustled in the river water, the sky was dark with clouds. Start material: Completion of material:
