Pleasures of the fifth continent
Gold Coast AUSTRALIA Moving north of Sydney, we are in Queensland. This is a territory with a perfect tropical climate - not too hot and not too wet. State capital - Brisbane, which is the third largest city in Australia. The city center is modern, but there are still places with specimens of colonial architecture. The main attraction is the Gold Coast. Gold Coast - this is the best resort Australia with an infinite chain of beaches, hotels and towers, the noise of the surf and yacht clubs. Huge selection of entertainment to satisfy the most demanding tourist: theme parks, world cinema and Vet'n'Vayld. But the most exotic adventures await you in the park "Sea World". Here you can swim with a variety of marine life: dolphins, seals and even sharks. Should not be afraid of those scary-looking predators, as during the existence of the park or one of the tourists was hurt. Fraser Island - the brightest star of the Gold Coast. Tourists are attracted by the possibility of a unique safari along the sandy coast and the rainforest. Get to the island can ferry and air. For an extra fee you can fly around the same island as a whole. Fraser Island - the birthplace of wild dog Dingo. Lovely to look at, these "little dog" still remain insidious and dangerous predators. Strong waves, winds and sharks make the local coast unfit for bathing, but nature has generously rewarded fans of swimming. Inside the island there are real paradises - a freshwater lake with crystal clear water and sandy bottom is perfect.
Eco-Resort Ban Pako
Lao RESORT BAN PACO, aka LAO PAK ECO RESORT We were in the middle of jungle eco-resort, situated on a bend of the flow of the Mekong River, fifty kilometers from Vientiane. This resort is highly recommended to us a couple of Danes, whom we met in the village of Pak Beng. To earn the right to be called "Eco", the owners of the resort focuses on the eco-tourism, and seriously engaged in such an important issue, as the recycling of waste. It is also possible using solar energy, and all the bungalows are built of locally produced materials. Eco-resort Lao Park the next morning after his arrival at Ban Pako we woke up to breakfast before anyone else, because our bungalow biting ants swarmed. The waiter from time to time were closing his eyes as he took our order. We tried to order a roll, but, alas, not yet baked. Instead, we ordered banana fritters - the most delicious I've ever tasted - and strong Laotian coffee. We complained about the ants, because of which nazoditsya in our house was just unbearable. Maintenance staff was at a loss, they had never heard such complaints. By schatyu, after breakfast, we moved to another bungalow. "Preserve nature Ban Pako" Time to Ban Pako is flowing slowly, and the days are filled with serenity. We wandered through wild paths in the jungle, admired the butterflies that are found here in abundance, but during the hottest time of the day resting in a hammock on our balcony. We followed the advice of the hotel employees to bathe in the river, and a wonderful time.
Economic monster and center of the historical heritage
BANGKOK - Thai capital in 2009, the year Bangkok was named the second most expensive city in Southeast Asia after Singapore. Today, Bangkok - one of the "economic monsters" of the world, but this Asian city is also full of monuments and its historical heritage, as well as entertainment. Thanks to this combination of modernity and history of Bangkok is a very interesting and exotic place. Bangkok by night The most interesting places in Bangkok - is its numerous temples. Did not forget about building the Royal Palace, Royal Complex "Vimanmek, the notorious red light district, promising sensual pleasures. Every year in Bangkok comes more than eleven million tourists to visit these places. This far exceeds the number of tourists in the famous cities like Paris or London. Bangkok - the capital of Thailand, the largest and most important city in the country. It is located just at the point where the Chao Phraya River flows into the sea. River - perhaps the most important part of the landscape of Bangkok. The whole town is channeled, because of which received the nickname "Venice of the East". The town's population of approximately 6.5 million people, and if taken into account and the suburbs, you get more than twelve million. With so many residents of Bangkok as the most populous city in the world. The Royal Palace in Bangkok Bangkok Modern - the result of huge investments made in the eighties and ninetieth to Asian countries. Many global corporations have moved their headquarters to the capital of Thailand, making Bangkok one of the financial and economic centers of the world.
Sea, sun and white sand beaches, plus the island spirit - part 2
Cook Islands - Paradise on Earth (continued, p.2) In addition to parties who meet on Friday nights in the city Avarva, we went for an evening of local culture. This view of local folk music, dancing and buffet meals from the kitchen island, I recommend to visit. Although I am not a supporter of such tourist attractions, the meals were very tasty, and I must admit, I liked the costumes, dances, and how happy the inhabitants of the Cook Islands play the ukulele (Hawaiian guitar, approx. Perevi.). Island food and dance We stayed in an inexpensive and quite decent housing complex Bekpekers Rarotonga, in the beach house with a kitchen and a large balcony, which was located 10 meters from the beach. If funds permit, you can stay in a luxurious complex "Rumorz-of-Peredayz" which in which a customer's service for beach houses with private swimming pool, a waterfall, a large whirlpool bath heater, from which at night you can admire the starry sky, and the room- cinema with a screen 2.5 meters. Traveller's notes Aitutaki Aitutaki Island - a paradise that is very similar to the ideal image of the island with the cards: the crystal clear waters, colorful corals growing on shallow and sandy beaches with white sand. All this is just one big picture is perfect. Islet area of ??only 18 sq km is a part of one of the world's most beautiful atolls, which includes 15 other small islands. The atmosphere on this island with a population of 1800 people more friendly and relaxed than on Rarotonga.
